Privacy notice

How Rainsbridge collects and uses your personal information. Last updated 30 October 2026.

Who we are

Rainsbridge is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. If you have a question about your information or want to use any of your rights, email us at hello@rainsbridge.com. We will respond within one month.

What we collect and why

Newsletter

When you subscribe to The Rainsbridge Weekly we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We use them only to send you the newsletter and occasional updates from Rainsbridge. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and confirming your subscription from the email we send you. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

Our email service provider, Kit (Kit.com, Inc.), stores your details and sends our emails on our behalf. It records when and how you subscribed and whether you open emails, so we can keep a record of your consent and understand what readers find useful. Kit may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards.

Using the website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the website securely.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or share your newsletter details with anyone else. If we ever offer services that involve sharing your details with another firm, we will ask for your separate, explicit permission at that time and name the firm.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you, and keep only the minimum needed to record your consent and make sure we don't contact you again.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
